The prosecutor's office investigation showed that the value of the potential crimes accused of the former minister could be as much as PLN 143.164 million – this is the amount the prosecutor's office wanted to establish a compulsory mortgage for. In the justification for previous refusals, the court also indicated that the applications concerned securing the same amount on different properties under the same title. In such a situation, the regulations require the division of the security into partial mortgages, which was not included in the documentation.
Finally, after correcting the formalities, the District Court in Rawa Mazowiecka agreed to the prosecutor's request and established a compulsory mortgage on Zbigniew Ziobro's property.
