As the war enters its fifth year, Russia continues its attacks on Ukraine, while numerous international companies remain active, profiting in Russia and paying taxes there. In 2022, these firms rushed to announce their withdrawal from the Russian market, the sale of their businesses, investment halts, and job cuts. However, as time has passed, these loud declarations have quieted, yet the revenue continues.
Billions in earnings, profits, and taxes still flow into the budget of a country that uses these funds to finance its war against Ukraine. Many of these companies are thriving in Ukraine as well, with Ukrainians purchasing their products such as cosmetics, medications, and cigarettes, and utilizing their banking and service offerings. They are profiting from the Ukrainian market while simultaneously contributing to the Russian budget, filling the coffers of the nation that attacks daily.
We will not remain silent on this issue. We are committed to identifying and bringing to light all companies that operate in both Ukraine and Russia. We will reveal how much they earn in Russia, the taxes they pay to the Russian budget, and the brands under which they sell goods to Ukrainians. Each of these companies will be compelled to publicly respond to our inquiries. No one will remain in the shadows.
