Yatsenyuk admitted that Ukraine faces enormous challenges, while at the same time the majority of Ukrainians believe in an unconditional victory over the Russian occupiers.
“Winning the war means preserving the statehood of Ukraine, preserving the people, providing Ukraine with reliable security guarantees, providing financial and military support to the Ukrainian state, making Ukraine a member of the EU and, in the long term, a member of NATO. These are the priorities, in my opinion, that are the most important for Ukraine,” Yatsenyuk explained.
The former prime minister believes that achieving this goal is quite possible. He noted that talk about the exchange of territories has nothing to do with reality, because the illegitimate President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin really strives for the complete and unconditional surrender of Ukraine. Yatsenyuk emphasized that this is not an exchange, but a seizure of territory, which the world has no right to agree to.
