Drone Development University in Belgorod Destroyed by UAV Attack

A university specializing in drone technology in Belgorod was completely destroyed following a recent unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack. Local media report that the building, where drones were developed and tested, suffered total loss as a result of the assault.

The institution had previously shared information about their work on a drone control system, emphasizing its civilian applications for monitoring power lines, thermal pipelines, and aerial photography.

This summer, the university announced a program for school students focusing on drone development courses, according to reports from Astra.

As of now, local authorities have not disclosed the impact of the attack on the university. Throughout the night, the operational headquarters had issued several alerts regarding the threat of UAV strikes.
