In the stock exchange, it was announced that the company's management board applies about the lack of dividend payment from the profit generated in 2024. Instead, he proposes to transfer the entire amount – PLN 2 787 596 997.52 PLN – on the company's supplementary capital.

The application in this case was adopted by a resolution of the Management Board on May 15, 2025 and will be submitted to the ordinary general meeting of KGHM Polska Miedź SA for approval. This decision was also positively approved by the company's supervisory board.

In the justification, the Management Board indicated that the recommendation of non-payment of dividend results from the analysis of the financial needs of the entire KGHM Capital Group in the context of the implementation of both short and long-term investment plans. The company emphasizes the need to strengthen its capital position in order to be able to effectively implement strategic development projects. The last time the company did not share the profit, it took place in 2020.

An ordinary general meeting will make the final decision on the division of profit for 2024. The company has not yet announced the date of its convening, but in accordance with the regulations it should be held within six months after the end of the financial year, i.e. in this case until the end of June.
