Kyiv has been ranked as the seventh city in Europe for the highest public transport fares, according to various reports. Since July 15, 2023, transit prices in the Ukrainian capital surged nearly fourfold. Passengers now pay 30 UAH for a ride on the metro, bus, tram, or trolleybus. Additionally, a monthly unlimited travel pass costs 3,656 UAH, equivalent to about 71 euros.
