Erling Haaland’s Unique Accessory Captivates Fans on Norway’s Return

On Monday evening, Norway’s national football team arrived back home following their elimination from the 2026 World Cup, losing 1-2 to England after extra time. As anticipated, Erling Haaland was the focal point, not for his football skills but for an unusual accessory he sported.
The aircraft carrying the Norwegian coaching staff and players landed at Oslo’s private terminal at 19:06 (Romanian time). Before landing, as they entered Norwegian airspace, the plane was escorted by two F-35 fighter jets from the country’s air force and was greeted with water jets upon touchdown.

As a crowd of supporters gathered near the airport fences, coach Stale Solbakken was the first to disembark, stepping onto a red carpet, followed by captain Martin Odegaard, who wears the number 10 jersey.
Shortly after, Haaland emerged, carrying two large travel bags and the accessory that quickly went viral on social media. Following their arrival, the delegation boarded a bus heading to the city center, destined for the Royal Palace where they were to meet King Harald V, according to reports.
In his first World Cup appearance, Erling Haaland scored 7 goals for Norway, playing a key role in their impressive run to the quarter-finals.
Erling Haaland’s Semifinal Favorites
The World Cup semifinals feature Spain vs. France on Tuesday at 22:00 and Argentina vs. England on Wednesday at 22:00. Haaland expressed support for England in the tournament.
I have friends at Manchester City who play for this team. I want them to perform well. Since I was young, I had an England jersey before I had one from Norway. Jude is a good friend of mine; we had two wonderful years together at Dortmund. He is a really nice guy. I am not at all surprised he scored those two goals because he is in great form. I think he is unfairly criticized for not scoring consistently. Jude is an incredible player, and the English are fortunate because everyone wants a player like him – Erling Haaland
