Ukrainian Official Resigns from Polish Honor Following Presidential Actions

Ukrainian official Kyrylo Budanov has announced his resignation from the Gold Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Poland, an honor bestowed upon him by the Polish President last year. This decision follows a recent move by the Polish President to revoke the Order of the White Eagle from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Budanov’s refusal of the award comes on the heels of another resignation from the same honor by fellow Ukrainian official Sybiga.
