Part of the historical center of Krasnoyarsk was left without power supply. This was reported by the “005” service.
According to experts, the shutdown affected Mira Avenue, Lenin Street, Dictatorship of the Proletariat, Kopylov, Perenson, Trade Unions and other areas of the city center.
The power outage also caused problems on the roads. Traffic lights have stopped working in the center, while traffic in this part of Krasnoyarsk traditionally remains heavy. Drivers are advised to take the situation into account when choosing a route and be more careful at intersections.
“Three teams of specialists from the Rosseti Siberia branch – Krasnoyarskenergo gradually returned the equipment to operation, and promptly transferred consumers to backup circuits. Everything possible was done to restore power supply as quickly as possible. At 13:45 all consumers of the branch were powered. The reason for the blackout was damage to the equipment of a third-party network organization, which resulted in a disruption at the branch’s power facility,” Rosseti representatives reported.
