Researchers told how many Russians would like to live in a private house

Most Russians would like to live in their own house, rather than in an apartment. VTsIOM analysts reported this.
According to the study, 64% of Russians would prefer to live in an individual house. The apartment was chosen by 34% of survey participants. Another 2% found it difficult to answer. Moreover, in fact, the majority of Russians now live in apartments. 66% of respondents have this housing option. 31% of respondents live in their own home.
Despite this, 75% of Russians are generally satisfied with their current living conditions. At the same time, the demand for improving the quality of housing remains.
Many people consider housing with an area of 76 to 100 square meters to be the ideal option. m. The optimal format is often called 3 or 4 rooms. For an apartment, Russians especially value a large kitchen, balcony or loggia. For a private home, its own plot of land and amenities inside the house are important.
1,600 Russians over 18 years old took part in the survey.
