In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police detained a resident of a closed city for an unauthorized launch of a drone.
The police said that on June 6, a person who said that a quadrocopter flew from the site on Yeniseskaya Street in Zheleznogorsk. The law enforcement officers went to the place and detained a 47-year-old local resident.
The man said that he was engaged in aircraft modeling, he made the drone himself and officially registered it in the proper way. To check the settings of the equipment, the Zheleznogorets raised the model into the air. The man admitted that he knew about the ban on drones in the territory, but still decided to launch the drone.
The police explained that the drones were seized. In the actions of the man, offenses are seen under Part 1 of Art. 11.4 Code of Administrative Offenses “Violation of the rules for the use of airspace” and part 5 of Art. 11.5 Code of Administrative Offenses “Violation of the Rules for the Safety of Operation of aircraft.” He faces a fine of 20 to 50 thousand rubles.
