Electricity production at the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-3 (a branch of the Yenisei TGC, a division of the SGK in the Yenisei Siberia region) over the two months of this year increased by 45% – from 214 to 310 million kWh. This dynamics is due to the launch of the second power unit with a capacity of 185 MW at the end of 2025.
The introduction of new equipment made it possible to practically double the installed electrical potential of one of the country's most modern solid fuel enterprises – from 208 to 393 MW. The large-scale investment project was completed within four years, and the total investment in capacity expansion exceeded 33 billion rubles.
The performance of other SGC divisions in the region remained at a stable level. The total electricity generation by the three Krasnoyarsk CHPPs, Minusinskaya CHPP, Nazarovo SDPP and Krasnoyarsk SDPP-2 amounted to 3,905 million kWh. Despite the significant share of hydroelectric generation of the Angara-Yenisei cascade in the Siberian energy system, thermal stations remain in demand on the wholesale market.

An important advantage of thermal power plants is the independence of their productivity from climatic factors. And the availability of an accessible fuel base guarantees the uninterrupted operation of enterprises in any conditions. To maintain high performance of equipment and develop infrastructure, SGK continues to implement long-term renewal programs.
