Rospotrebnadzor announced an increase in the number of appeals due to tick bites in 7 regions of the Russian Federation

Since the beginning of the season, more than 82.4 thousand Russians have appealed to medical organizations with complaints about tick bites. Most registered in seven regions of the country.
Among them were the Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen, Kemerovo, Kirov regions and the Udmurt Republic. Krasnoyarsk Territory did not enter the top. At the same time, Kuzbass is among the leaders for the second time in a row, reports vse42.ru.
“At present, there is a traditional tendency to an increase in the number of appeals for the spring epidemic period,” Rospotrebnadzor said.
The department noted that the territories are processed from ticks. At the moment, more than 91.5 thousand hectares have been processed.
