In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 208 agricultural producers will receive about 490 million rubles from the regional budget.
The funds will be used to grow grains, legumes and fodder crops, potatoes, open-ground vegetables, as well as oilseeds (except rapeseed and soybeans).
“The farmers received part of the subsidies in the spring, before the sowing season. Now payments compensate for the costs of seeds, fertilizers, plant protection products, fuels and lubricants, wages to employees and other purposes,” said Dmitry Voropaev, Minister of Agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Agricultural producers are also compensated for the costs of purchasing elite seeds. Selection of applications will begin in August. Support is also provided for those who have insured their crops. In addition, farmers can apply for subsidies for land reclamation and additional payments for the insured area.
In total, 2.2 billion rubles have been provided to the region’s farmers in various areas of state support.
