Norilsk deputies held the first session after a monthly break

September 9 11:53
The first session of the Norilsk City Council after a month's break completed the work. The agenda of the deputies included only 5 questions, 4 of which concerned the addition of powers of the deputy of the LDPR faction Pavel Semizorov, the new parliamentarian of the Legislative Assembly of the region.
The deputies approved the decisions of the city council with decisions of the powers of their colleagues and excluded him from the commission on budget and property, on urban economy and legality and local government. Those who take the vacant place will become known later, after the passage of internal party procedures and the adoption of the corresponding decision of the Norilsk Territorial Electoral Commission.
Another question concerned the appointment of the date of public hearings on amendments to the charter of the city. As reported, in accordance with the new Law of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the head of the city will now be elected by the deputy corps from among the candidates represented by the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (previously candidates were self -nominated and allowed a special commission). The head of the region should submit to the Norilsk deputies for consideration of at least two candidates. Note that the powers of the current head of the city of Norilsk expire in January 2026.
Another change that is planned to be made to the charter: the end of the chairman of the Permanent Commission of the City Council on the city economy by the authority of the Deputy Chairman of the City Council. After the discussion, the parliamentarians set the date of public hearings – they will be held on October 2.
“The first session after the break was short. However, it was appointed just in order to make a decision on the date of public hearings – by the law of the region, we have certain terms in which we must meet the change in the charter. Let me remind you that the next session will take place in two weeks, there the working agenda will be more saturated, ”the speaker of the local parliament Alexander Pestryakov summed up the results of the session.
