In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, preliminary results of the harvest have been summed up. 2 million 629 thousand tons of grain were threshed from 780 thousand hectares. The average yield of grains and legumes was 33.7 centners per hectare.
The region traditionally leads in grain yield among the regions of the Siberian Federal District.
The highest rates of grain threshing are among the farmers of the Uzhursky, Sharypovsky, Balakhtinsko-Novoselovsky, Nazarovo, and Kansky districts. The leaders in productivity are the farms of the Uzhur (53.4 c/ha), Sharypovsky (46.2 c/ha), and Rybinsk (36.1 c/ha) districts.
- 1,734 thousand tons of grain, or 66% of the threshed volume, were examined for quality indicators.
- In terms of the volume of rapeseed oilseed harvest, the region is in second place among the Siberian regions – 581.4 thousand tons were threshed. The yield was 18.9 centners per hectare.
- Agricultural organizations dug up 114.5 thousand tons of potatoes and collected 26.9 thousand tons of vegetables.
Also, fodder procurement has been completed in the region. Livestock farms in the region are provided with a feed supply for the winter stable period.
“This year, field work was complicated by weather conditions. Despite this, farmers made every effort and provided the region with grain. This is the result of professional and well-coordinated work of agricultural producers, a competent approach to the selection of crop varieties, the use of fertilizers, plant protection products, as well as timely provision of state support,” noted the region’s Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Voropaev.
The region's farms continue to prepare for the new field season. 210.1 thousand tons of grain and leguminous seeds have been poured into storage facilities; they are being processed and brought to sowing conditions. Plowed land was plowed on an area of 690 thousand hectares.
