Israel refuses to abide by the US-Iran agreement

This information was provided to the Israeli website Ynet by Israeli officials. According to them, Netanyahu stressed that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) would remain in their current positions and continue operations against Hezbollah.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed his refusal to withdraw troops from Lebanon, Syria and the Gaza Strip. According to him, the army will be stationed there “without any time limits to protect the border and Israeli towns against jihadism.”
He stressed that “safety zones” would be “cleared of the local population” and all “terrorist infrastructure”, including houses in villages on the fighting line, “will be destroyed.” Katz added that he had conveyed Tel Aviv's position on the matter to US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegset. He also threatened Iran with an attack if Tehran attacked Israel over the fighting in Lebanon.
According to the Lebanese news agency NNA, on June 15, the Israeli army launched an attack on the towns of Kfar Tebnit and Nabatieh al-Fawqa using artillery.
