In the Ermakovsky district, the former head of the Tanzybey village council and her subordinate will appear in court. They are accused of fictitiously registering compulsory labor for a convicted person. The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk region reported this.

In May 2023, a resident of the village of Tanzybey was convicted of repeated driving while intoxicated. The court sentenced him to 240 hours of compulsory work. The man had to serve his sentence in the administration of the village council. However, he soon announced that he was working on a rotational basis and did not want to lose his job in the north.

According to the prosecutor's office, the convict asked officials to complete the mandatory work ahead of schedule. For some time he was actually engaged in the improvement of the village, but less than a month later he left for the Vankor production site.

After this, the village council continued to draw up time sheets as if the man worked the assigned hours every day. These documents were sent to the penal inspection, and there the punishment was considered fulfilled. An audit by the prosecutor's office showed that from September to November 2023, false information was entered into the timesheets. As a result, the court's verdict was executed only on paper.

The prosecutor approved the charge against the former head of the Tanzybey village council and her subordinate for abuse of office, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy. The criminal case will be considered by the Ermakovsky District Court.
