All Russian banks may be included in the “white list” in the fall

Banks that are not yet on the “white list” of online resources may be included there in the fall. Anatoly Aksakov, head of the State Duma Committee on Financial Markets, told RIA Novosti about this.

This is a list of services that remain available during mobile Internet restrictions for security reasons. There are currently few banks on the list. Because of this, credit institutions find themselves in unequal conditions when serving clients. The deputy noted that he had already addressed the government and the Bank of Russia on this issue. The idea of including all banks was supported by the head of the Central Bank, Elvira Nabiullina.

Previously, the Bank of Russia reported that it was discussing with the Ministry of Digital Development the inclusion of all banks in such a list.

Now the “white list” includes more than 500 Russian services. It includes social networks, online stores, government websites and other significant resources. One of the conditions for inclusion in the list is the location of computing power in Russia. The decision to add each resource is made taking into account the requirements of the authorities responsible for security.
