PSG and Bayern meet on Tuesday from 22:00 in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals.

Vincent Kompany has sought to rotate players in the latter stages of the Bundesliga to keep them as injury-free as possible. But the musculature of some simply gave out, either in matches or in training.

Last on Bayern's absentee list is Raphael Guerreiro

The last member of Bayern's medical staff is Raphael Guerreiro. The 32-year-old Portuguese international suffered a muscle tear in the first half of Saturday's 4-3 win at Mainz, will be out for around two weeks and is certain to miss both legs of the Champions League semi-finals against PSG (April 28/May 6).

Guerreiro is the 5th player of the German champions to be sidelined due to a muscle injury. Striker Sergi Gnabry is the most important of them, he became unavailable due to a tear suffered in his right thigh just before the return with Real Madrid, from the “quarters” (4-3). For Gnabry, the 2025-2026 season is basically over. He will also miss the 2026 World Cup, from the USA, Mexico and Canada (June 11 to July 19).

At PSG, the question marks are Vitinha, Achraf Hakimi and Lucas Hernandez

Two other “heavy” absences from the Bavarian team are the talents of Lennart Karl and Tom Bischof. The first was chosen with a muscle fiber tear in the right thigh, the other has one in the calf. Both are now on the mend and Kompany hopes to have them back by the return with PSG on May 6. Reserve goalkeeper Sven Ullreich is in the same situation.

Another absentee from the group that will travel to Paris is Sapoko Ndiaye. The 18-year-old, on loan from Bayern from Gambinos Stars Africa, is not eligible to play in the Champions League.

On the other hand, Luis Enrique also has three uncertainties. Full-backs Achraf Hakimi and Lucas Hernandez were injured in the 3-0 win over Angers at the weekend, and midfielder Vitinha is out for longer.
