Tripadvisor named it the best hotel in the world for 2026 and costs just over 50 euros per night
Travel advice platform Tripadvisor has announced the winners of its annual Travelers' Choice Awards for the world's best hotels, and a hotel in Indonesia has come out on top.
The winners of the Travelers' Choice Awards: Best of the Best Hotels 2026 were determined based on the quality and quantity of Tripadvisor reviews and ratings from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.
“This year's 'Best of the Best Hotels' winners represent the top choices of the millions of travelers who have stayed, experienced and taken the time to rate these properties,” said Laurel Greatrix, director of communications for Tripadvisor Group. in a statement.
“Whether it's a luxury resort in Indonesia, an adventure lodge in Oregon or a crane suspended over Amsterdam, these winners create the foundation for truly unforgettable journeys,” the source added.
And the GH Universal Hotel in Bandung, the administrative seat of Indonesia's West Java region, was voted the No. 1 hotel on Tripadvisor. 1 in the world.

A quick search on Booking.com shows that a “last minute” one-night booking for June 12-13 costs just €60. But for an advance reservation, the average price is 55 euros. The rate is for a superior twin room with garden view, suitable for a couple.
The price is slightly higher for weekend days, starting from 57-64 euros, depending on the selected period. The hotel has similar rates for visitors traveling with small children, but the prices jump significantly, to over 100 euros per night, for those staying with children who have reached the age of 12.
