During the ceremony of incorporation of F-35 aircraft into the Polish Armed Forces, DiNanno talked about making USD 4 billion available to Poland. for military cooperation under the Foreign Military Financing program, which provides for granting loans and grants to US allies and partners for the purchase of American military equipment.
The last time Poland signed a loan agreement under this program with the United States was in July last year – for the same amount of USD 4 billion.
In an interview with the Polish Press Agency, DiNanno confirmed that the USD 4 billion he mentioned in Friday's speech is a new amount that will expand the pool available to Poland to almost USD 20 billion.

The secretary added that Poland will be able to use the money to purchase necessary American equipment, including additional F-35 aircraft.
