The draft agreement between Iran and the United States to resolve the conflict as a whole is at the final stage of preparation, but its completion is hampered by persistent contradictions in Washington's approaches. This was stated on June 12 by the official representative of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Baghai, as quoted by IRNA.
According to the diplomat, “the text is almost ready and finalized in most of its parts.” However, he said that the process was repeatedly complicated by “inconsistent and contradictory US positions,” which, according to Tehran, led to failures in the negotiations.
Baghai stressed that Iran initially participated in the dialogue with “good will and a responsible approach.” At the same time, he accused the United States and Israel of violating the ceasefire imposed in April, announcing two attacks on Iranian territory, including attacks on infrastructure facilities in the south of the country and in the Sirik region.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman added that Iranian relevant structures should carefully study all the details of a possible final agreement before its final approval.
