IN In the village of Oktyabrsky, Boguchansky District, a two-year-old boy died as a result of drowning in a septic tank, the Investigative Committee of the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported.
The tragedy occurred on June 12 in the afternoon. It was previously established that the 41-year-old woman was doing household chores in the house and her three young children were with her. At about 11 o'clock a two-year-old boy went out into the yard. A short time later, the mother found her son without signs of life in a septic tank located on the territory of a private house.
A criminal case has been opened in the Boguchansky District regarding the death of a child as a result of drowning in a septic tank.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence) and all the circumstances of the incident are established.
Law enforcement officers urge adults to be more vigilant and not leave children unattended, as well as to more carefully monitor their leisure time. “With the onset of the warm season, there is a high probability of an increase in the number of accidents associated with the death of children as a result of drowning in water containers, ponds, or falling from windows!” the Investigative Committee warned.
