Donald Trump criticizes Iran
US President Donald Trump sharply criticized Tehran on Friday after what he believed to be inaccurate descriptions of the proposals appeared in Iranian state media.
Trump said the deal could be signed as early as this weekend in Europe.
Agreement with Iran. What does it contain?
As CNN writes, a high-ranking US administration official presented several points of a potential agreement between the US and Iran, presenting the document as an implementation of President Donald Trump's negotiation goals.
The contract includes:
— Reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and lifting of the US blockade of Iranian ports.
— It will lead to the dismantling of Iran's nuclear program, including the United States' acquisition of enriched nuclear material from Iran, which, the official said, will be destroyed on site and then exported from the country.
— Iran would be “freed from many of the economic burdens it has struggled with for many, many years” if the country complied with the terms of the agreement. “These benefits will only come when they are actually realized,” the official said.
