A third of Russian women surveyed would not consider a relationship with a young man without a car. TASS reports this.
According to the study, only 21% of women are willing to date a man without a car. Another 46% hope that their partner will get a car over time. At the same time, 33% do not consider a relationship with a man without a car at all.
For most women, a car is associated with freedom. 64% of survey participants answered this way. Another 55% believe that a car indicates a man’s readiness to help and give him a ride at the right time. Every fifth Russian woman perceives having a car as an indicator of a partner’s wealth. Another 17% see this as a sign of status and ambition.
Men treat women's cars more calmly. Almost 80% of respondents said that a girl’s car does not in any way affect her willingness to meet someone or build a relationship. Moreover, for 44% of men, a woman’s car speaks primarily of mobility, for 33% of practicality, for 28% of independence.
Women also rated their driving behavior. Most of all, they value the driver’s calm and confidence, politeness to other road users and careful control of the car. The main “red flags” for girls were aggressive driving, changing lanes, constant honking and swearing while driving.
More than 2.5 thousand respondents took part in the survey.
