As the company announced on Tuesday, it has launched Claude Fable 5, a public-use version of Claude Mythos, and, for a broader audience, the Mythos 5 model. “Fable 5's capabilities exceed those of any model we've ever released,” Anthropic said in a statement. Claude Mythos in a version safe for the world
Just two months ago, we wrote that Claude Mythos may be available only to a narrow, elite group and will not serve a wider group of users. When Claude Mythos was first released to a small group for testing purposes, Anthropic claimed it was doing so because the tool was so intelligent that it could be dangerous due to its ability to exploit or hack computer systems. It poses a risk, among others: for financial security and is “too powerful” to be shared. The version now released on the market is supposed to be safe, although still not completely safe.

What is the enormous potential of Claude Mythos? A foretaste of the benefits this tool can bring to the world was provided by, among others: the so-called the Glasswing project, where models helped cybersecurity specialists secure critically important software. “We've also seen this in life sciences research, where these models are generating novel hypotheses and accelerating the development of new therapies,” Anthropic reports.
Fable 5 and Mythos 5 are offered for $10. for 1 million input tokens and $50. for 1 million output tokens. As Bithub.pl emphasizes, this is the most expensive artificial intelligence model on the market. At the same time, it is ahead of everything available so far – especially in terms of programming, analytical work, image processing and the implementation of tasks lasting many hours.
