Alexander Zverev (29 years old, 3 ATP) reached $65.8 million in career tennis earnings, surpassed only by Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.

Alexander Zverev won the first Grand Slam trophy of his career at Roland Garros, defeating Flavio Cobolli 6-1, 3-6, 6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-1 in the final. 1 This trophy is extremely important to me. If I had lost this final, my confidence would have suffered a lot. Now, after this victory, I feel I can repeat the performance,” said the German.

In addition to the glory, Zverev also received $3.2 million for winning the Paris trophy. This amount saw him rise three places on the tennis earnings list, jumping from seventh to fourth.

His total is $65,845,262, with the German earning $6.4 million this year. He collected the biggest prizes this season for the title at Roland Garros and for reaching the semi-finals at the Australian Open.

Alexander Zverev, ahead of only Djokovic, Nadal and Federer

In this ATP hierarchy, he is surpassed only by Novak Djokovic (194.8), Rafael Nadal (134.9) and Roger Federer (130.5).

The Roland Garros winner beat Carlos Alcaraz (64.9), Jannik Sinner (64.8) and Andy Murray (64.6). Daniil Medvedev (51.8), Pete Sampras (43.2) and Stan Wawrinka (38.4) are also in the Top 10. All amounts taken into account are gross amounts offered by the tournaments, excluding tax, and include all prize money accumulated over the course of a career.

The reasons why Alexander Zverev is so high on this list are due to the longevity of his career, he turned professional in 2013, and the importance of the tournaments in which he reached the final stages. The German has four Grand Slam finals played, plus seven more semifinals in such tournaments. He also won seven ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, plus six other finals. The third player in the world has won 25 tournaments in his career.
