He emphasized that disrespect began in 2014 when Russia entered Crimea, leading to ongoing instability. Zelenskyy argued that a complete return to normalcy hinges on the security, protection of lives, and the release of prisoners held by Russia, alongside a return to fundamental principles of international law. “Territorial integrity matters,” he added.
