Dozens of events dedicated to Russia Day will be held in the Krasnoyarsk Territory from June 10 to 12. This was reported by the press service of the governor and the regional government.
On the eve of the holiday, residents of the region can already join the actions of the “First Movement”. Among them are the all-Russian flash mob “About Russia with Love”, an exhibition of drawings “Draw, Russia!” and the game “Russian Codes”.
On June 10, the “Defenders of the Fatherland Cup” will open in Krasnoyarsk. More than 100 Northern Military District veterans from different regions of Siberia will take part in the competition.
On June 11, as part of the “We are Citizens of Russia” campaign, 14-year-old residents of Krasnoyarsk will be awarded their first passports. The documents will be received by teenagers who have distinguished themselves in studies, sports and social work. Another presentation will take place on June 12 at the National Center “Russia” on Dubrovinsky Street.
On Russia Day, June 12, at 10:00 on Victory Square, commemorative medals will be awarded to cadets and guards of the Patriot youth military sports center.
At 11:00, the patriotic festival “Serving Russia!” will begin on the western side of Tatyshev Island. The program includes demonstration performances by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Federal Penitentiary Service and the National Guard, an exhibition of special equipment, interactive platforms and a festive concert. The festival will conclude with the “Round Dance of Unity”.
At 15:00 the All-Siberian Festival of National Cultures “I love you, Russia!” will be held there. Groups from seven regions of the Siberian Federal District will perform on stage.
From 15:00 to 18:00 a festival of Russian folk games will be organized on the Central Embankment. Guests can enjoy hopscotch, gorodki, dodgeball, lapta, dominoes, Chapaev, round dances and other activities.
At 18:00 the summer festival will begin in the May 1st Park. Sports and interactive games, educational zones, VR, artificial intelligence, master classes, a fair, quizzes and playgrounds will be prepared for citizens. The program will end with watching a film on the big screen.
In addition, on June 12, volunteers will distribute ribbons in the colors of the Russian tricolor to residents and talk about the history of the holiday. During June, the films “Union of Salvation”, “Russia: 85 Adventures” and “Alexander. Battle of the Neva”.
