Krasnoyarsk schoolchildren assembled a motorcycle for SVO soldiers from scratch

24 February 12:21

In Krasnoyarsk, students of a specialized mechatronics class at school No. 8 in the Kirov region assembled a motorcycle for participants in a special military operation. The ceremonial presentation and transfer of equipment took place the day before within the walls of the educational institution.

The idea came from the guys themselves – so they decided to support their fellow countrymen on the front line. The schoolchildren purchased a motorcycle in parts and, under the guidance of mentors, including representatives of the Public Council at the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region, in less than a week they turned a pile of spare parts into a full-fledged combat vehicle. Before this, the young mechanics mostly assembled robots, but they handled the task confidently.

The schoolchildren named their creation “Lucky Eight” – in honor of their home school and as a symbol of good luck for the fighters. The presentation brought together the authors of the project, teachers and volunteers who will deliver the equipment to the North Military District zone.

The motorcycle has been tested and is completely ready for use in the field.
