In Krasnoyarsk, an entrepreneur received a suspended sentence for a scam involving municipal land (video)

In Krasnoyarsk, an entrepreneur was found guilty of fraud with municipal land on Poltavskaya Street. The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk region reported this.

According to the court, back in 2014 the man had his eye on a plot of 4 thousand square meters, but did not want to buy it at the market price. To purchase land at a preferential rate, he used a scheme with a non-existent building. Transactions and documents were drawn up through dummies, and then the outline of a building appeared on the site.

Later, a purchase and sale agreement was introduced into the case, according to which the entrepreneur allegedly purchased a woodworking shop worth 15 million rubles from Krasnoyarsk LDK OJSC almost 30 years ago. However, as the court found, the workshop itself did not exist in reality. At the same time, design, geodetic and other documents made it possible to register ownership of the property.

After this, it became possible to buy the land without bidding for 15% of the cadastral value. In February 2021, the plot was bought for 2.5 million rubles with a cadastral value of 17 million rubles.

The entrepreneur did not admit guilt. In court, he stated that the case was allegedly related to an attempt to seize his assets worth about 1 billion rubles. These arguments were refuted by the results of space photography and the examination of the agreement, which, according to the court, was drawn up retroactively.

The defendant's land and property worth more than 17.7 million rubles were seized. The court found the entrepreneur guilty of fraud. He was sentenced to 3 years of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of 2 years and a fine of 750 thousand rubles.

The court also decided to return 9.7 million rubles to the Krasnoyarsk administration.
