In Krasnoyarsk, scammers persuaded the young mother to sell the apartment and give them money (video)

In Krasnoyarsk, a young woman sold her apartment to give money to fraudsters, the regional police said.

The press service said that the 25-year-old Krasnoyarsk was deceived according to the standard scheme. At first she was informed that someone hacked her personal account on the public services portal and had to contact the hotline administration. The phone was sent to her in the message. It was a fake number, but the woman believed the scammers and called it.

“For several days, the Krasnoyarsk was allegedly called representatives of law enforcement agencies and state structures and talked about the fact that on her behalf some attackers made a general power of attorney to dispose of her real estate. In order to save her apartment, the woman was offered to issue an imaginary purchase and sale deal and even connected with realtors, ”the press service said.

They promised that the apartment sales contract would not pass state registration. It is only necessary to create the appearance of alienation in order to save real estate from criminals. It was possible to find customers quickly, as the apartment was estimated much lower than the market value.

When a woman received money, they called her again, now “law enforcement officers” who demanded to hand over money to the investigative department to introduce them to the criminal case materials and even offered to send a courier for the money. Thus, the woman gave the received from the sale of the apartment 7,600,000 to an unfamiliar man who drove up to her house.

The scammers did not calm down on this. After that, they demanded that the woman pay a fee of 600 thousand rubles in order to cancel the purchase and sale transaction. Only then did Krasnoyarka realized that she had become a victim of scammers, and turned to the police. A criminal case has been instituted on this fact under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fraud on an especially large scale.”
