Giani Kiriță, former captain at Dinamo, spoke about the progress the “dogs” had in the regular season round and about dramatic victory with CFR Cluj, 2-1. And it puts pressure on his former team.
Champion with the red-and-white formation, Kiriță congratulated Zeljko Kopic for the inspiration he had in the match with CFR Cluj. He is of the opinion that Dinamo can no longer miss the play-off and told the Dynamo players not to repeat the scenario of last season, when they did not win a single match in the second part of the season.

This year, Dinamo must propose more. To be in the play-offs and win games. It's not enough just to be there. You must not make a fool of yourself. The team is on a road. It goes to the play-offs, but let's not forget last year we were laughed at. If you don't win a match, you've come for nothing. What did you work for? You must aim to win all matches.
At Dinamo you always have to be under pressure! It's always been that way. In my time there was a saying: only 1st place was the goal. Yes, now there is a reconstruction, but having the goal of qualifying for the play-offs does not mean pressure. It would be pressure if you were aiming to win the title. But we talk about this half-heartedly, unfortunately. Not the case now.
The lot is still thin. The bench is very important and we need players. In all compartments. We need players who bring value. And without investment money, you're just struggling”, declared Giani Kiriță for Gazeta Sporturilor.
