I soak the baking sheet in a basin – and the age-old carbon deposits come off on their own: a secret without caustic chemicals

If you've ever cooked a casserole or meat in the oven, you know what a persistent black residue can form on the bottom of the pan. Scrubbing it with a steel wool is not a pleasant task. But there is a simple and inexpensive way to deal with this problem. You don't need aggressive and expensive oven cleaning products.

Take a glass of table vinegar, two tablespoons of baking soda, some dish soap and a deep plastic bowl or large saucepan. In a bowl, mix vinegar, baking soda and hot water until an active, effervescent foam forms. Then place the stained baking sheet or rack in the basin so that the problem areas are completely submerged in the liquid. Cover the top with cling film or a large bag and leave for 2-3 hours. After this, remove the dishes and gently wipe the bottom with a soft sponge. Finally, rinse the mold under running water.

This way you can easily get rid of burnt fat, and your kitchen utensils will shine with perfect cleanliness again.
