In the new academic year, almost 13.5 thousand first-graders will go to schools in greater Krasnoyarsk. This was announced by the mayor of Krasnryarsk Sergey Vereshchagin.
Applications are still being accepted. The first stage will last until June 30. Now documents are submitted by families who live in micro-sites assigned to schools.
After this, the second stage of admission will begin. Children will be admitted to available places. During this period, the total number of first-graders may increase, but only slightly. While schoolchildren are on vacation, educational institutions are preparing for the new school year. On September 1, 117 schools will accept children. Also, a new school with 1,550 places will open in Tikhye Zorya. 264 future first-graders have already enrolled in it.
In addition, the overhaul of four schools is under separate control. After the update, they will return to the city's education system.
