If you're dreaming of a hearty, healthy breakfast, but don't want to stand at the stove until lunch, try oatmeal muffins in a mug. They are prepared from what is in the cupboard, but they turn out tender, moderately sweet and with fruity juiciness. Even children who don’t eat oatmeal finish them with pleasure.
You will need:
Long-cooked oat flakes – 100 g
Egg – 1 pc.
Milk – 100 ml
Banana – 1 pc.
Apple – 1 small
Honey – 1 tbsp. l.
Baking powder – ½ tsp.
Pinch of cinnamon
How to cook:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Mash the banana with a fork, grate the apple on a coarse grater.
- In a mug or bowl, combine oats, egg, milk, honey, baking powder and cinnamon.
- Add banana and apple and stir.
- Pour the batter into 4 greased silicone molds.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until the cake is lightly browned and pulls away from the edges.
- Serve warm.
The muffins are moist inside, with a tender crust, without sugar, but with natural sweetness.
Bon appetit!
Question and answer:
Why are cupcakes made without sugar?
Banana and honey provide just the right amount of sweetness. This is gentler on children's pancreas and does not cause irritation.
How long do cupcakes last?
Refrigerate for 3 days, freezer for 1 month. Microwave for 10 seconds.
