The governors of the Krasnoyarsk and Altai regions signed an agreement on the cooperation of the regions

At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a bilateral meeting of the governors of the Krasnoyarsk and Altai regions took place.
The government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory said that Mikhail Kotyukov and Viktor Tomenko discussed the cooperation of two Siberian regions in the field of economics, healthcare, social protection of the population, youth policy, education, sports and tourism. After discussing the topics relevant for both Siberian regions, the governors signed an event plan and an agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation of subjects. The ceremony took place in the pavilion of the stand of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
“The agreement between the Altai Territory and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, concluded in 2019, is successfully fulfilled: there are good results in all directions. The Krasnoyarsk Territory is included in the first ten consumers of Altai products, annually the volume of trade between the regions is estimated at several billion rubles. The largest supply of supplies from the Altai Territory falls on food, every year the Krasnoyarsk residents buy more and more flour-cereal products from us. We intend to increase the supplies of pharmaceutical products, energy mass -building equipment, agricultural equipment, ”said Viktor Tomenko.
As the parties noted, good neighborly relations have long been established between the territories. Subjects are partners in the field of supplies of equipment and materials in the field of agro -industrial complex, relations in the field of science, sports and culture have been established, the inhabitants of the region are popular with the tourist and health routes of Altai, and residents of the Altai Territory are frequent guests in Krasnoyarsk.
The new agreement and the action plan provide for a number of events for the next three years, including aimed at improving the investment climate between the territories.
“The plan of events is a document that details our joint work in all directions. It covers the economy, education, healthcare, sports, tourism, youth policy, culture and other areas. The document provides for the exchange of experience and information, the participation of delegations in iconic annual events that are held in our regions, assistance in organizing business missions and a tour of creative groups. I hope that the plan of measures will help us more quickly and more efficiently solve the problems of socio-economic development, improving the quality of life of people, the implementation of national projects, ”explained Mikhail Kotyukov.
We will remind, earlier it became known that the Krasnoyarsk Territory expands cooperation with Belarusian enterprises in the agricultural sector. The delegation of the region, headed by the Minister of Agriculture, Ilya Vasiliev, visited the international exhibition “Belagro-2025”, as well as the agro-industrial enterprises of the Grodno region of the republic.
