A Siberian neuropsychologist gave five tips on how to overcome phone addiction

Neuropsychologist, associate professor at Tomsk State University Larisa Kurovskaya gave advice on how to regain control over your life and stop depending on gadgets. Her words are quoted by RIA Tomsk.
The first thing the expert recommends is to turn off all notifications that do not require an urgent response. This will help you save energy and maintain a high level of concentration. The second rule is to allow yourself to do nothing, for example, look out the window at the clouds or sit relaxed in a chair with your eyes closed.
In addition, it is important to go to bed no later than eleven o'clock in the evening. An hour before bed instead of using the phone Kurovskaya advises reading a paper book, talking to a child, or writing down thoughts in a notebook. The neuropsychologist recommends spending the first half hour after waking up without a phone or TV. It’s better to have breakfast in silence and plan your day.
The fifth rule is to practice being in the moment, for example, feeling the water while washing your face or enjoying the taste of food.
“To speed up, you need to slow down,” the scientist reminds. According to her, it will be difficult to follow the rules only for the first month, while the brain is being rebuilt, so it is important to find like-minded people and make them a habit with the whole family.
