The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory helped a resident of Zheleznogorsk restore the right to receive a monthly child benefit in the maximum amount.
According to the supervisory agency, at the end of 2025, the woman submitted an application for payment through the State Services portal, but mistakenly indicated the amount of alimony higher than what was actually received. She didn’t figure out how to correctly distribute income between two children. While the application was in electronic circulation, it was not possible to promptly correct the data through the personal account, and the fund assigned a benefit in the amount of 50% of the subsistence level.
The woman repeatedly contacted the authorized body with a request to correct the information and submit a new application, but she was refused to review the amount of payment.
Then the prosecutor's office, speaking in defense of the rights of the mother and her children, filed a lawsuit to recognize the right to receive benefits in the amount of 100% of the subsistence minimum and oblige the branch of the Social Fund of Russia to schedule payment from January 1, 2026.
The court supported the prosecutor's position. The fund was obliged to pay benefits for each child in the maximum amount – 100% of the subsistence level for children.
The execution of the court decision is under the control of the prosecutor's office.
