Iran issues fresh warning to US Middle East allies after recent ceasefire violations

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran issued a statement on Saturday in which it appeals to the “principle of good neighborliness” and warns the countries in the region not to allow the United States to attack Iran from their territories, writes DPA, taken over by Agerpres.
A few hours before the call, the Americans had hit radar installations in the Sirik region and on Qeshm Island in southern Iran.
“This attack was a clear violation of the truce of April 2026 and an aggression against the territorial integrity of Iran,” the quoted statement said.
Iran asked the UN Security Council to react to the “illegal actions of the US”, claiming that they endanger peace in the region and the world.
The US and Israel attacked Iran three months ago, and since April 8 a cease-fire was in force, which was violated several times by both sides in the conflict.
On Friday, the US armed forces announced that they had intercepted several missiles launched by Iran against Kuwait and Bahrain, countries allied with the US. Earlier, the United States military intercepted four Iranian drones in the Strait of Hormuz and attacked radar stations on Qeshm Island and in the Iranian city of Goruk.
