A young man will be tried in Krasnoyarsk for committing a series of thefts from shops.

In December 2025, the police control room received a message from the director of the supermarket. She reported that an unknown person stole a box of chocolate from the counter. Police officers seized the video and were able to establish the identity of the attacker and his location. He turned out to be an 18-year-old guy.

Law enforcement officers found out that in the store the young man approached the counter with sweets, took one box with 40 chocolates and put it in the inner pocket of his jacket. When he headed towards the exit, one of the employees became suspicious and shouted at the young man. He pretended not to hear and left the supermarket. Then he sold this box, worth more than 5 thousand rubles, for just a thousand rubles.

It also became clear during the investigation that the accused was involved in another crime. In November 2024, he stole goods worth more than 10 thousand rubles from a fast food outlet: a package of sausages, two kilograms of French fries, four bottles of mineral water, 100 bags of instant coffee, as well as about 2 thousand rubles in cash.

Investigators opened and investigated a criminal case under two articles: “Theft” and “Robbery.” The accused was given a written undertaking not to leave the place and to behave properly.
