Anyone who regularly uses a dishwasher notices over time that the washed dishes can smell damp, and a sticky gray coating appears on the inner walls of the dishwasher. These are congealed fat, remnants of cleaning gel and mineral deposits from hard water. Not only do they ruin the shine of your cutlery, but they also cause the filters to quickly clog, reducing the overall cleaning quality.
But there is a simple and affordable solution. You will need regular table vinegar and baking soda. Place half a cup of baking soda directly on the bottom of the empty chamber, and pour 100 ml of vinegar into a small cup and place it on the top shelf. Run the hottest wash cycle, completely emptying the machine of dishes.
This procedure will gently dissolve grease plugs in the system, clean the sprayer holes and neutralize any foreign odors. Repeat this prevention once every 1-2 months, and the equipment will wash the plates until they squeak, and the inner plastic will not darken. It is important not to use this method at the same time as chlorine tablets to avoid damaging rubber seals and metal parts.
