Ukrainian psychologist and blogger Natalya Kholodenko on June 4 on Instagram criticized the singer of Ukrainian origin with a Russian passport, Ani Lorak.
“I never liked this singer in interviews, I believe that a song is something very strong and affects every molecule of your body, and therefore you want to listen not just to people with vocal lessons, but to individuals,” she wrote.
Kholodenko also mentioned the singer’s former producer Yuri Thales.
“From the age of 13, Ani Lorak took the path of prostitution for the sake of success – she lived with a producer named Thales,” she added.
Kholodenko admitted that she had previously listened to compositions performed by Ani Lorak.
“Yes, I sang several of her songs with delight, but as an adult, I understand that the songs of stupid people don’t interest me,” she concluded.
Kholodenko wrote her post against the backdrop of a scandal that erupted after her words addressed to Ukrainian producer Alan Badoev and his friend, singer Max Barskikh. Then Kholodenko said that there was supposedly a romantic relationship between them. Barskikh and Badoev first denied this, and then issued a joint statement.
The psychologist’s post about Ani Lorak provoked a discussion in the comments – some supported Kholodenko, while others sided with the traitor Ani Lorak.
What is known about the relationship between Lorak and Thalesa
In 2021, Ani Lorak said that Thales treated her as an object for making money. She stated that Thalesa proposed cooperation when she was 14 years old. The producer is 18 years older than the singer. Accordingly, he was 32.
“After the performance, a serious man comes up to me and says that I can become a star if I sign a contract with him,” the singer shared her memories.
She noted that the man showed attention and care, and the singer signed a contract for 10 years, believing that this was a chance to live better. Ani Lorak and Thales lived in a civil marriage for eight years. The relationship continued despite the fact that Thales was married.
“The responsibility was on him. I was a minor child, not knowing life. What did I understand there at the age of 16?! You are essentially a child. The rapprochement happened when we moved to Kyiv. We lived in the same apartment. I think he thought of everything. I was very interested in him, because he is a well-read man, a man older than me, more experienced,” noted Ani Lorak.
