In Russia, a list of approved games and toys for kindergartens will be created. The head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Sergei Kravtsov, reported to RIA Novosti.
“It is planned to form a systematic approach to equipping kindergartens throughout the country. Determine a minimum list of teaching and educational means, as well as games and toys that correspond to the traditional values of the Russian people and contribute to the development of the child,” Kravtsov said in an interview with reporters.
The head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation also noted that thanks to this approach, children will be able to learn more about the traditions, folk crafts and achievements of the country, and get acquainted with its historical figures.
Let us remind you that it became known earlier that starting from the 2026/27 academic year, “Spiritual and moral culture of Russia” will begin to be taught in 5th grades, and in the 2027/28 academic year the subject will be introduced in 6th and 7th grades. The corresponding order appeared on the official legal information portal in the second half of February.
As the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation said, “Spiritual and moral culture of Russia” is aimed at developing a worldview in schoolchildren based on traditional values. Among them are patriotism, citizenship, service to the Fatherland, a strong family, the unity of the peoples of Russia, historical memory and creative work.
