A native of Krasnoyarsk, tennis player Mirra Andreeva reached the finals of the Roland Garros tournament in Paris.
In the semi-finals she beat Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk with a score of 6:1, 6:3. In the final, Andreeva will meet with the representative of Poland, Maya Chwalinskaya. The match will take place on June 6.

19-year-old Mirra Andreeva became the first Russian woman in the last five years to reach the final of a Grand Slam tournament. In 2021, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova reached the final of Roland Garros, but lost to the Czech Barbora Krejcikova.
