A native of Krasnoyarsk, tennis player Mirra Andreeva reached the finals of the Roland Garros tournament in Paris.
In the semi-finals she beat Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk with a score of 6:1, 6:3. In the final, Andreeva will meet with the representative of Poland, Maya Chwalinskaya. The match will take place on June 6.

19-year-old Mirra Andreeva became the first Russian woman in the last five years to reach the final of a Grand Slam tournament. In 2021, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova reached the final of Roland Garros, but lost to the Czech Barbora Krejcikova.
Let us recall that Roland Garrosalso known as the French Open, is one of the four most prestigious tennis tournaments in the Grand Slam series.
