The Krasnoyarsk Territory showed a high result at the qualifying stages of the Olympiad on financial security

The results of the qualifying stage of the VI International Olympiad on Financial Security have been summed up. In the Siberian Federal District, 69 children became winners, including 40 representatives of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
“The Krasnoyarsk Territory has taken a leading position in Siberia. This result was made possible thanks to the systematic work on financial education that we conduct throughout the year: lessons in schools, family festivals, programs for the older generation. Financial literacy is the basis of safe behavior, real protection of people from scammers and digital threats,” emphasized the head of the region, Mikhail Kotyukov.
The regional Ministry of Finance said that the next test for the participants will be a competitive essay in which they can talk about their motivation for development in the field of financial security. The final of the VI International Olympiad on Financial Security will be held from September 27 to October 2 in Krasnoyarsk at the Siberian Federal University.
“For the sixth year now, our country has been holding the International Olympiad on Financial Security. The project is becoming more and more popular, its geography has expanded to 45 countries. The Olympics have already grown into a real international movement for financial security. I urge you to join this movement and become participants in the Olympiad,” said Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko.
Let us remind you that the Olympiad is held on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation and since 2025 has been supported by the national project “Youth and Children”. Last year, on the initiative of Rosfinmonitoring and the Governor of the region, Mikhail Kotyukov, the final of the V International Olympiad was held for the first time at the Siberian Federal University. In 2026, based on the results of the competition, Krasnoyarsk will again host participants in intellectual competitions from around the world.
Winners and runners-up of the Olympiad receive benefits when entering universities of the International Network Institute for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs in accordance with the benefits of Level I Olympiads, as well as the opportunity to do internships at Rosfinmonitoring and other organizations.
