In Krasnoyarsk, a contractor repairing two road projects in the Sovetsky district will be fined. This was reported to the mayor's office.
The road repair season in the city is almost over. However, at two sites where the contracting organization USK Sibiryak LLC works, repairs have not yet been completed. Today, October 21, a control visit of the customer’s service took place on the road from Molokova Street to Oktyabrskaya along the park named after the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. The event was also attended by the head of the district, Elena Lanina, and deputies of the City Council.
The installation of curb stones, laying of asphalt concrete pavement have been completed at the site, local repairs of the sidewalk parts have been carried out, lawns have been restored and markings have been applied. The contractor is currently laying tactile tiles on the pedestrian crossings and restoring landscaping. However, under the terms of the municipal contract, work at the site was supposed to be completed on September 15.
“Here, during a laboratory study, poorly laid asphalt was identified. The contractor rebuilt about one and a half thousand square meters of covering at his own expense. Even taking into account the fact that an additional volume of curb stone was installed on the passage, which was not initially assumed in the local estimate, the contractor had every opportunity to complete the work on time,” said Roman Oparin, acting deputy head of MKU “UDIB”.
A similar situation has developed on Shumyatsky Street. All that remains for the contractor to do is to restore order – remove garbage and building materials.
“During the repair process, unaccounted for electrical and heating networks were identified. And this means additional volumes and time that is required for approvals and work with the owner organizations. And the weather let us down,” Roman Chirikov, deputy executive director of USK Sibiryak LLC, commented on the situation.
However, now the contractor will be fined for each day of delay. The amount of the fine will be known after the work is completed.
Let us remind you that this road season in Krasnoyarsk, about 56 kilometers of city roads are being put in order – that’s 76 objects, including 40 under the national project “Infrastructure for Life”, initiated by the president of the country. To date, 99% of the work has been completed. The quality of repairs is checked by experts from technical supervision, road laboratory and construction control. If deficiencies are identified, the work is not paid until the specialists’ comments are eliminated.
