According to the court, the conflict began in the summer of 2021. A resident of Krasnoyarsk found a correspondence on his wife’s phone with a contact called “Beloved.” It later turned out that the woman’s interlocutor was Yaroslav Malinovsky. After this, the man began to receive demands to divorce his wife on her terms and hand over several apartments, non-residential premises and real estate documents to her.

Threats were also made against the victim. They promised to “break his legs” and burn his car. A few months later, as the court found, the wife herself began to make demands for the transfer of property. During conversations, she reminded her ex-husband of the threats made earlier and insisted on the transfer of real estate worth a total of 35 million rubles.

In court, the woman did not admit guilt. She claimed that at that time she did not communicate with Yaroslav Malinovsky, did not enter into an agreement with him and did not make any demands on her ex-husband. The court found her guilty of extortion on an especially large scale. The woman was sentenced to 7 years in prison to be served in a general regime correctional colony.

Yaroslav Malinovsky is on the international wanted list.
