The employment service campaign “I want to be like you!” has started in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Teenagers will be able to temporarily work at enterprises where their parents work. This was reported by the Labor and Employment Agency of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The first sites opened at industrial and transport enterprises, in the housing and communal services sector, the agricultural sector, road construction, the service sector and food production. Thus, a confectionery factory invited teenagers to take the positions of stackers and packers. Catering organizations offer jobs as kitchen workers, utility companies as auxiliary workers, couriers and administrators. In agriculture, schoolchildren will be able to try themselves as livestock workers and assistant personnel inspectors.

The agency noted that working conditions are appropriate for the age of the participants and should not pose a health risk. The working day is organized in a gentle manner according to labor standards. Each teenager undergoes safety training, and an official contract for temporary employment is concluded with schoolchildren. In addition to salaries from employers, the guys receive financial support from the employment service. The payment is provided under the regional program “Promotion of Employment”. This year the amount of financial assistance has doubled. On average, teenagers can earn from 26 to 35 thousand rubles per month.

“The action is part of the modern system of organizing teenage employment. We create an environment for raising children, developing their abilities and introducing them to work. Young people get the opportunity to earn an honest living, learn more about enterprises located in the district and in-demand specialties,” said Sergei Selyunin, deputy head of the labor and employment agency of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Last year, 512 companies in the region employed more than a thousand teenagers. The project became the winner of the All-Russian competition for best practices in youth employment, which is held by the Russian Ministry of Labor. The action is related to career guidance for schoolchildren and is being implemented under the “Personnel” national project.
